Allegro PCB Analog/RF Option
In high frequency circuits a copper line might become a component due to its characteristic form. In the Allegro PCB Analog/RF Option parameterizable copper forms are supported for electrical components. That way it is possible by changing the parameters to change the component values for a mixer, condensator, waveguide,...etc. For the exact RF simulation the Allegro PCB Analog/RF Option supports a parametrizable exchange to ADS so that the circuit and the layout are synchronized automatically. It is easy to implement neu component into the copper structures at which the remaining copper components are moved accordingly. For tapering (taper trace widths) different methods are supported. With the option you also get a library of scalable RF components, which can be simulated with ADS.
