Sigrity OptimizerPI

Using Sigrity OptimizerPI decoupling capacitors can be optimized on circuit boards. The software analizes with a 3D field solver the current and tension supply system of the board. Afterward all combinations will be calculated from an existing list that shows prices and electrical properties. Thereby the already placed foooprints for condensators are considered in the design. As results will only be showed those combinations, which have better electrical properties or which are cheaper in sum of the component costs. Sigrity OptimizerPI can be used in the design phase as well as on finished routed designs. The saving potential is in the range of 15% to 50% of the costs for capacitors, with the same or better electrical properties.
